THE SANDBOX IN THE CITY GARAGE SALE

Each June, Colleen, Juanita, the staff, and our willing customers donate their gently-used clothing, footwear, and accessories to a four-day Garage Sale set up. Coinciding with the Broadway Art Fest, all proceeds from the items sold are donated to Oliver Lodge, a care facility offering daytime activity programs for seniors. Colleen and Juanita's mother, Liz, lives with Alzheimer's and attends the Oliver Lodge program four days per week. The event typically raises over $1,500. The Jospeh Ribkoff Trunk Show A hit since its inception in October of 2008, this annual event includes a fashion show featuring the Spring/Summer collection of Joseph Ribkoff, one of our clientele's favourite Canadian lines. The event includes refreshments, door prizes, and Joseph Ribkoff gift certificates. After the show, attendees have the option to peruse the samples and order their favourite pieces. With past shows raising $1,400 - $2,000, all proceeds are donated to a different charity each year.

• The Silverspoon Dinner - Sponsored by Saskatoon CWH (Hadassah-WIZO) and Congregation Agudas Israel, it supports the Crisis Nursery and Interval House.

• YWCA Women of Distinction Dinner - Sponsored by the YWCA, it provides assistance to women and their families.

• Saskatoon Autism Services - Develops and sustains services for individuals with Autism.

• Saskatoon Women's Network - Provides a network supporting the aspirations of women.

• The Princess Shop - Creates an enhanced Grad experience for female students in need, and provides them with mentoring and support.

• SPCA - Provides care for abandoned animals.
